I am excited to share that our new membership community, Sanctuary: A Respite From 2024, launched on Sunday, March 3, 2024. It is designed to give you some space from the crazy of 2024, and provide a supportive community that may help get you through these “unprecedented times.”

We spent our first session talking about the enduring power of myth, starting with the myth of Pandora’s box. 

We started here because I thought it was as good an explanation for what happened in 2020 as anything.

This meme made me laugh so hard when I first saw it back then. 

I asked the group a series of questions: 

• What is the downside of curiosity for women? Have you ever gotten into trouble for being curious? 
• Pandora was made to be incredibly curious and then was given a box she was not supposed to open. We have freedom of choice, but was she set up to fail?
• What is the upside of curiosity as a strategy for success or well-being?
• When is curiosity a helpful posture? 
• What is the significance of Hope in the myth? 
• How can Hope help us now in these “unprecedented times”?

This conversation was so rich and we went deeper layer by layer. It was by far the most interesting conversation I have had in a long time. 

We also did some other really fun activities and everyone left the 75-minute session feeling energized and refreshed. 

My co-coach Angie Rome Gonzalez and I were thrilled. It’s always a little nerve-wracking when you launch something, but we were prepared and everything went as planned.
