Experiencing a layoff or bad business breakup is jarring and heartbreaking. While it is tempting to try to power through it or tell yourself you’re making too big a deal out of it, that is not helpful for moving forward – or healing.
Many professionals have experienced a toxic work environment or have been bullied in the workplace. When this happens, you may experience symptoms similar to PTSD. Your mental and physical health may be severely impacted. It is not uncommon to experience anxiety, sleep disorders, migraines, and stomach issues.
You also may struggle with limiting beliefs around whether you will be able to get back to work, to get paid what you want, and to find work that doesn’t crush you.
This is why we are partnering with Shweta Shyamani to offer a group RTT hypnotherapy session for Point A to Point B Transitions clients and their friends on Wednesday, July 26.
What is RTT?
According to the website, “RTT works through the science of neuroplasticity and combines the most effective NLP principles with CBT, psychotherapy, and hypnotherapy to create a uniquely powerful therapy with the potential to help people overcome their issues.” (link)
Here is a short video about RTT and healing anxiety with Shweta Shaymani and Catherine Morgan.
Why hypnosis?
Hypnosis is frequently recommended for addiction recovery like stopping smoking. It is also a recommended treatment for PTSD.
The logic brain isn’t helpful in some situations and can stop you from getting at the root cause of what is holding you back. Hypnosis helps you access the subconscious mind and sidestep the logic brain.
In a hypnotic state you are relaxed and your logic brain takes a nap, even though you are fully conscious.
You’ve likely experienced something similar when meditating or exercising or in a flow state.
Who is Shweta Shyamani?
Shweta is certified in many healing modalities, including Rapid Transformational Therapy or RTT. In addition, she is a former marketing executive and has an MBA from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management. She works with high-performing professionals and organizations suffering with decreased performance, productivity, or fulfillment due to intense stress, internal or external pressures, anxiety, or chronic pain.
What will the session be like?
The session will be held remotely on Zoom. It will go for 60-75 minutes depending on the number of participants and questions.
You should plan to be in a comfortable place where you will not be disturbed. You will need to have your camera on for part of it so Shweta can make sure everyone is ready for the session to start.
This session will not be recorded, but there will be a recording of the meditation, and that will be sent to all participants after the session. It is strongly recommended that you listen to the recording for 30 days after the session to support the transformation.
How much does it cost?
$47 per participant. Participants will pay Shweta directly.
When is it?
This session will be offered on Wednesday, July 26 at 8 EDT / 7 CDT / 5 PDT.
